Whether you are running your own business from home like me, selling on eBay or Amazon, or just wanting to have important items handy, here are 2 items you cannot do without!
Most of you know I have a tech and media company and a recording studio in my home. I also sell on eBay and Amazon. The most important thing you should do when selling online is to have a system that works. This won't be the same for everyone, and there's never a one-size-fits-all solution for organizing your materials. But when it comes to shipping materials, you need a few things with easy access.
I keep my shipping tape in a small wicker basket on top of a large rolling cart, along with my Duck brand bubble wrap, so I can create a system I use each time I get a package ready to go.
At the end of each day, I print my shipping labels, gather the items the customer purchased, wrap them in secure bubble wrap to protect them during the trip ahead, and tape them up into a box with Scotch shipping tape with a FRAGILE label. BTW, these fragile labels on Amazon are the best ones for the smaller boxes because you can stick them along the side of the package label horizontally for a perfect fit.
