I've been revamping my websites and blogs and working on my new business. I've also been busy doing small things like saving the Republic and the world, etc. ha
But I wanted to take a minute to share with you that I'm working on the 7th eBook that I hope to have finished in time for the Spring 2019 season. It's about how to have a $1000 garage sale every time. My sister and I are super experienced at this and I cannot recall a yard sale in which we made less than $1,000. In fact, we usually make closer to $2500. We have 2 or 3-day sales so that there are plenty of opportunities to negotiate with customers, have contests and games, and create repeat sales.
I use my background in radio to create contests, giveaways to people who spend a certain amount of money for shopping with us, etc. In short, the yard sales that we have are successful because of a long of other things that we do that have nothing to do with yard sales, if that makes sense!
I plan to have a podcast on this topic soon on BlogTalk Radio and also on my own internet radio station. Here's the link to my station. We talk about intelligence updates, political news, how-tos for entrepreneurs, how to invest, and more.
I do want to encourage anyone who wants to write an eBook to just do it! Think about what you're good at, make a list of your hobbies and areas of expertise, and go for it. Outline your book before you start if it is a non-fiction book but keep the outline loose so you can make changes as you see the need. Be creative. If it's important to you, it may be important to someone else, too. Just do it! I'll try to put together a video or tutorial soon on how to write an Ebook and get it published with Amazon Kindle and ACX (Audible) if you've never done so. In the meantime, start writing!
